Bespoke 1800 Aquarium Delivery

The Challenge

Large bespoke aquariums require meticulous planning before delivery.

For this project, the installation room could only be accessed via a first-floor window positioned approximately one metre above the driveway. The surrounding landscaping created uneven ground conditions, making lifting equipment selection particularly important.

In preparation for delivery, the customer’s window fitter removed the glazing while leaving the frame in place to provide sufficient access.

Our Solution

Prior to installation, our team assessed the access requirements, planned the lifting operation and selected the safest approach for positioning the aquarium.

Once on site, the aquarium was carefully lifted through the window opening before being manoeuvred into its final location. The tank was accurately levelled, protective packaging removed at the customer’s request and the installation area left ready for the next stage of the build.

The Outcome

Despite challenging site access, the aquarium was delivered and positioned exactly as planned.

The project demonstrated the importance of detailed preparation, specialist lifting techniques and experienced installation teams when working with large bespoke aquariums.
